i) let x =0

2(0)+y=5

0+y=5

y=5

ii) let x =1

2(1)+y=5

2+y=5

y=5-2

y=3

3x-y=5

i) let x=1

3(1)-y=5

3-y=5

3-5=y

-2=y

ii)let x=2

3(2)-y=5

6-5=y

y=1
