Answer:

( X= 25 , Y= -5 ) and ( X= 9 , Y= 3 )

Step-by-step explanation:

∵ X = Y²

∵ X = -2Y+15

∵ both equations =X

∴ equation 1 = equation 2

∴ Y²  = -2Y+15

∴Y² + 2Y - 15 = 0

∴ ( Y + 5 ) ( Y - 3 ) = 0

∴ Y = (-5 , 3 )

∴Substitute by Y in 1st equation :

∴ at Y = -5 , X = (-5)² = 25

∴ at Y = 3 , X = (3)² = 9

∴ solutions are :

( 25 , -5 ) and ( 9 , 3 )
