{\tt{\red{\underline{Given}}}}

  • 3x-5y=5 and
  • 4x-3y=-1

{\sf{\green{\underline{\large{To\:find}}}}}

  • y=px-3
  • p=?

{\sf{\pink{\underline{Explanation}}}}

  • Here we have Two Equations

3x-5y=5 _____(1)

4x-3y=-1_____(2)

Solving this Equation by elimination method

Multiply by 4 in Equation (1) and 3 in Equation 2

_______________________

  • New Equations will be

4(3x-5y)=5×4

3(4x-3y)=-1×3

12x-20y=20_____(3)

12x-9y =-3______(4)

___________

-11y=23

=>y= -23/11

__________________________

puttIng the value of X in Equation 1

3x-5y=5

=>3x-115/11=5

=>3x= 5+ 115/11

=>3x= (55+115)/11

=>3x = 170/11

=>x = 170/33

Now for p

Y = px-3

=>-23/11+3= (170/3)p

=>10/11 × 3/170 =p

=>30/1870

Hence,the value of p=30/1870
