Answer:

3x - y = 5 - - - 1)

4x - 3y = -1. ------- 2)

From 1)

3x - y = 5

or, y = 3x - 5

Putting value of y in 2)

4x - 3y = -1

or, 4x - 3(3x-5) = -1

or, 4x - 9x + 15 = -1

or -5x = -16

or, x = 16/5

Putting value of x in 1)

3x - y = 5

or, 3× 16/5 - y = 5

or, 48/5 - y = 5

or, y = 48/5-5

or, y = 23/5

now y = px- 3

so, 23/5 = p× 16/5 - 3

or, 23/5 = 16p /5 - 3

or, 23/5 + 3 = 16p/5

or, 38/5 = 16p/5

or, 16p = 38

or, p = 38/16

or, p = 19/8

So x = 16/5 y = 23/5 p = 19/8
