Step-by-step explanation:

Solution:-

4x+3y=36 ................(i)eq

4x-2y=16 ..................(ii)eq

using substitution method

take eq(ii) find value of Y

4x-2y=16

2(2x-y)=16

2x-y=8

2x-8=y

Now put the value of y on (i)st equation

4x+3y=36

4x+3(2x-8)=36

4x+6x-24=36

10x=36+24

10x=60

x=60/10

x=6

now put the value of x on y

y=2x-8

y=2×6-8

y=12-8

y=4

value of x=6 and y=4
