Solve the simultanious equation 3x+=8 and x-3y=11

Heya Mate.......

3x+y=8(1)×3

x-3y=11(2)

9x+3y=24....(3)

Now add (3)&(4)

9x+3y=24

+x- 3y = 11

10x =35

x=35/10

x=7/2

x=3.5

Now put x=3.5 in equⁿ (2)

x-3y=11

3.5 -3y =11

-3y = 11-3.5

-3y= 7.5

-y =7.5 /3

-y =2.5

y= -2.5
