A 3m Wide path runs outside and around a rectangular park of length 125 m and breadth 65 m . Find the area of the path​

Area of rectangular park = length×bradth

=125×65

= 8125 m²

if the path is 3m wide

then, the sides of field with path =125+3 by65+3

=128by68

then, the area of total area field = 68×128

= 8704m²

Now, area of path=total area of field with path -area of path

= 8704m² -8125 m²

=579m²

Hence, the area of path is 579m².
