Method 1 : Simplify and then solve

= (x/3 + y/5)²

(using: (a+b)²= a² + b² + 2ab)

= (x/3)² + (y/5)² + 2 × x/3 × y/5.

= x²/9 + y²/25 + 2xy/15

= (putting the value )
= 9²/9 + 12²/25+ 216/15
= 81/9 + 144/25 + 216/15
= (2025+ 1296+ 3240)/225 ( By taking L.C.M)
= 6561/225
= 29.16

akshay9977: won't the value of 5 be squared
DivyaDaga: yes it would be
DivyaDaga: I have corrected
akshay9977: but the answer behind the book is x2/9+ xy/6+ y2/16
DivyaDaga: sure??
DivyaDaga: tell the name of book and the class
akshay9977: yes
akshay9977: sorry sister........you were right just Cross checked it.....thanks for your help......god bless you....
DivyaDaga: its not needed

(x/3 +y/5)^2
(9/3+12/5)^2
(3+12/5)^2
((15+12)/5 )^2
(27/5)^2
729/25
In decimal value 29.16

akshay9977: thank you
