Concept :
Splitting middle term method of ax² + bx + c, in this we have to split b in two no such lyk e and d such that d*e = a*b and d+e = b.
= - 4x² + 2x + 6
= - 4x² + 6x - 4x + 6
(6*-4 = - 4*6 & 6-4=2).
= - 4x² - 4x + 6x +6
= - 4x(x+1) + 6(x+1)
= (-4x +6) (x+1)
You may find x :p
=) (-4x + 6) = 0 & (x+1) =0
=) x = 6/4 = 2/3 & x = - 1.
