Given, x= -1/2, y= 3/4, z= 1/4

L.H.S.

x+(y+z)

=\frac{-1}{2} +(\frac{3}{4}+\frac{1}{4}  )\\\\=\frac{-1}{2}+1\\\\=\frac{1}{2}

R.H.S.

x×y + x×z

\frac{-1}{2}\times\frac{3}{4}  +\frac{(-1)}{2}\times\frac{1}{4}  \\\\=\frac{(-3)}{8}+\frac{(-1)}{8} \\ \\=\frac{-4}{8}\\\\=\frac{-1}{2}

Since L.H.S.≠R.H.S., the property is not valid.
