Given :

⬤ Area of Rhombus is 120 cm².

⬤ Length of One Diagonal is 8 cm .

To Find :

⬤ Length of Other Diagonal .

Formula Used :

\bf[\:{Area \: of \: Rhombus = \dfrac{1}{2} \times{{Diagonal}_{1}} \times{{Diagonal}_{2}}\:]}

Solution :

Let :

  • Length of Other Diagonal be x.

According to the Question :-

120 = 1/2 × d₁ × d₂

120 = 1/2 × 8 × x

(120 × 2) = 8 × x

240 = 8x

240/8 = x

30 = x

Therefore , Length of Other Diagonal (x) is 30 .

Check :

  • Diagonal₁ = 8 cm.
  • Diagonal₂ = 30 cm.

120 = ½ × d₁ × d₂

120 = ½ × 8 × 30

120 = 4 × 30

120 = 120

Hence Checked
