Hello friend!!!...Here is ur answer

Given equations are...

4x+2y=10 ------ eq1 and x-y=13 ------13

=> Apply eq 1 + 2 eq 2

then we get..

6x=36

=> x= 6

put the value of x in eq 2

6-y=13

=> y = -7

Hope it will help you

Here \: is \: the \: answer \: of \: your \: question

`\textbf{Find x and y}`

Given,

4x + 2y = 10

Take 2 common from both side,

2(2x + y) = 2 (5)

2x + y = 5 ............(1)

x - y = 13 ..............(2)

Now,

Solve both (1) and (2) by elimination,

+ 2x + y = 5
+ 1x - y = 13
________
+ 3x = + 18

x = + 18/3

x = + 6

Put value of x in (2)

6 - y = 13

- y = 13 - 6

- y = 7

y = - 7
