5x-4y = -10

-4x+5y=8

Answer:

eqns are 5x-4y=-10 .....(1)

and -4x+5y=8. ........(2)

add both eqns

then we get x + y = -2. ......(3)

subtract ..(1) and ..(2)

we get 9x-9y=-18

x-y= -2. ....(4)

add (3) and (4)

we get 2x = -4. so x= -2

put x= -2 in any of the eqn

we get y= 0

the solution of these eqn is x= -2 and y= 0
