Answer:

answer \\  - 3 - (x - 5) = y + 2 \\ 2(x + 2) = 4 - 3y

Now the further solving

1.

 - 3 - x + 5 = y + 2 \\ x + y + 2 = 2 \\ x - y = 0

2.

2x + 2 = 4 - 3y \\ 2x - y = 4 \\ 2x - y = 4

Now subtracting 1 from 2

2x - y = 4 \\  - x + y = 0 \\

________________

x = 4

Now from equation

x - y = 0 \\ x = y \\ 4 = y \\ y = 4 \\ hence \\ x = 4 \\ y = 4
