Solve the system using elimination. 3x – 4y = 9 –3x + 2y = 9

the answer is -9.. The 3 and the negative 3 cancels out because it equals zero. You're left with -4 + 2 which is -2y. 9+9=18. You divide 18 by -2 and get -9
