\angle x=65\degree (Vertically Opposite angles)

Now, we know that,

Sum of all angles of a triangle is 180.

So,

 x + y + 50 \degree = 180 \degree

 \implies y + 115 \degree = 180 \degree

 \implies y   =( 180  - 115)\degree

 \implies y   =65 \degree

Now,

a = 180 \degree - x \degree

 = 180 \degree - 65 \degree

 = 115 \degree

Also,

 \angle b =   \angle a

 = 115 \degree

(Since, the angles are vertically opposite angles)

\star\:\:\:\bf\large\underline\blue{Answer:-}

  • x = 65 \degree
  • y = 65 \degree
  • a = b = 115 \degree

From the figure, we can say that,

\Delta BCD is an isosceles triangle since BC=DC.

So,

\angle CBD=\angle CDB=50\degree

Now,

\angle z=180\degree-(50+50)\degree

=80\degree.

Similarly, \Delta ABD is an isosceles triangle since AB=AD.

So,

y =  \frac{180 \degree - 100 \degree}{2}

 = 40 \degree

\star\:\:\:\bf\large\underline\blue{Answer:-}

  • x = 50 \degree
  • y = 40 \degree
  • z = 80 \degree

Answer:

GIVEN,

BASE = 8 CM

PERPENDICULAR = 6 CM

SO HERE WE USE THIS FORMULA

H² = P² + B²

H² = 6² + 8²

H² = 36 + 64

H² = 100

H = √100

H = 10 cm

X = H

SO, H = 10 CM ANS...
