 \frac{ - 19}{6}

let the unknown rational number be x

now

x +  \frac{ - 11}{6}  =  - 5 \\ x =  - 5 +  \frac{11}{6}  =   \frac{ - 19}{6}

therefore

x =   \frac{ - 19}{6}

x =   \frac{ - 30+ 11}{6}
