Y-0 &x-1

hope this may help u

3x-y—3——*¹

9x-3y—9——*²

now

multiply equation 1 by 3 on both side

(subtracting eq 2from1)

9x-3y—9

-9x-3y—9

0 +0y—0

so y—0 n then substitute the value of y in eq 1

u will get the ans

hope this answer helpful u

Solution:-

Given Equations:-

3x - y = 3.

9x - 3y = 9.

EXPLANATION:-

In Substitution Method,

☆Firstly, We solve and find the value of one variable.

☆Then we substitute that value in the other given Equation.

☆By putting that value in it, we gets the Exact value of one variable.

Solution:-

3x - y = 3._________(1)

9x - 3y = 9.________(2)

From eq (1).

y = 3x - 3

Putting (y = 3x - 3) in eq (2). we get,

=) 9x - 3( 3x -3) = 9

=) 9x - 9x + 9 = 9

=) 0 = 0.

=) x = 0.

Putting ( x = 0) in eq (1).

=) 3×0 - y = 3

=) -y = 3

=) y = -3.
