Answer

a.7.5

b.10

c.-3.66

Explaination

a.

2x - 4 = 11 \\  = 2x = 15 \\  = x =  \frac{15}{2}  = 7.5

b.

5x - 11 = 3x + 9 \\  = 5x - 3x = 9 + 11 \\  = 2x = 20  \\  = x = 10

c.

9 - 2(x - 5) = x + 10 \\  = 9 - 2x - 10 = x + 10 \\  =  - 2x  - 1 = x + 10 \\  =  - 2x - x = 10 + 1 \\  = 3x =  - 11 \\  = x =  \frac{ - 11}{3}  =  - 3.66

Answer:

a:- x = 11 + 4=15

x = 15/2 =7.5 Ans

b:- 5x - 3x = 11 + 9

2x = 20

x = 20/2

x = 10 Ans

c:- 9 - 2x +.10 =x + 10

9 + 10 -10 = 2x + x

19 -10 = 3x

9 = 3x

x = 9/3 =3 Ans
