x+y = 12

=>x = 12-y .....(I)

Putting the value of x from (I),

x-y = 8

=>12-y-y =8

=>-2y =8-12

=>y = -4/-2 =2

=>y=2

Putting the value of y in equation (I),

x = 12-2

=>x = 10

I can solve only Question no.17 as I am a student of 9 only and the questions are of class 10.
