Solution:

To Find the  least number of people that can be arranged in groups of 3, 4, 6 or 8  with none left behind

We need to find LCM of 3 , 4 , 6 and 8  

3 = 3 * 1

4 = 2 * 2

6 = 2 * 3

8 = 2 * 2 * 2

LCM = 2 * 2 * 2 * 3  = 24  

24 is least number of people that can be arranged in groups of 3, 4, 6 or 8

with none left behind.
