x + 3y = 6
2x - 3y = 12

3x = 18
→ x = 18/3
→ x = 6
Put value of x in x + 3y = 6
→ x + 3y = 6
→ 6 + 3y = 6
→ 3y = 6 - 6
→ 3y = 0
→ y = 0/3
→ y = 0
