Given:

\frac{15}{4}-7x=9

Now solve it as

\frac{15}{4}-9=7x

\frac{15-9\times4}{4}=7x

\frac{15-36}{4}=7x

\frac{-21}{4}=7x

\frac{-21}{4\times7} =x

x=\frac{-21}{28}

x=-\frac{3}{4}

Hence the answer is -3/4

As per data given in the question,

We have to determine the value of "x" in the given expression - \frac{15}{4}-7 x=9

For finding the value of x we will solve the given expression by using BODMAS rule,

Now solve it as

$$\begin{array}{l}\frac{15}{4}-9=7 x \\\frac{15-9 \times 4}{4}=7 x \\\frac{15-36}{4}=7 x \\\frac{-21}{4}=7 x \\\frac{-21}{4 \times 7}=x \\x=\frac{-21}{28} \\x=-\frac{3}{4}\end{array}$$

Hence the value of "x" will be $-3 / 4$.
