To find :- The value

Solution :-

 \frac{17}{2}  -  \frac{29}{8}

Taking LCM of the denominator 2 and 8, to make the denominator equal

LCM is 8

 = ( \frac{17}{2 }  \times  \frac{4}{4})  - ( \frac{29}{8}  \times  \frac{1}{1} )

  = \frac{68}{8}  -  \frac{29}{8}

  = \frac{68 - 29}{8}

  = \frac{39}{8}

 = 4 \frac{7}{8}
