The number divisible by 8,9,12 is 108,360 and many more

but we want smallest number so we shall stop till 360

if we want 1 as remainder then we have to add 1 and divide it by the three numbers

if we divide it by 109(108+1) the remainder is not 1

but on dividing it by 361 which is 360+1 we get remainder 1

hence 361 is the smallest number which gives remainder 1 on dividing by 8,9,12
