Answer:-It is due to the Brownian movement caused between oxygen and Bromine.The heavier particle i.e. oxygen will go upwards and lighter particle i.e. bromine will go downwards​(through diffusion). So, that is why after several days the colour of the gas is the same on both jars.

Even after several days the color of the gas is the same in both the jars this all happened because of the movement between oxygen and bromine. Oxygen being heavier went up and bromine being lighter went down even after several days .
