\mathbb{ SOLUTION } :

3x +  \frac{1}{5}  = 2 - x \\  \\  =  > 3x + x = 2 +  \frac{1}{5}

By taking (-x) to LHS and \frac{1}{5} to RHS

 =  > 4x =  \frac{10 - 1}{5}

Taking 5 as LCM in RHS

 =  > 4x =  \frac{9}{5}  \\  \\  =  > x =  \frac{9}{5}  \div 4 \\  \\  =  > x =  \frac{9}{5}  \times  \frac{1}{4}  \\  \\   \therefore x =  \frac{9}{20}

VERIFICATION

LHS
 3x +  \frac{1}{5}  \\  \\  = 3 \times  \frac{9}{20}  +  \frac{1}{5}  \\  \\  =  \frac{31}{20}  \\  \\
RHS
2 - x \\  \\  = 2 -  \frac{9}{20}  \\  \\  =  \frac{31}{20}

\therefore LHS = RHS (verified)
