 \bf \LARGE \it Hey \: User!!!<br />

jayant travelled first 30km with uniform speed 40km/h

we know that speed = distance/time

therefore 40km/h = 30km/time
>> time = 30/40
>> time = 0.75 hour

and next jayant travelled same distance (30km) with speed 20km/h

>> 20km/h = 30km/time
>> time = 30/20
>> time = 1.5 hour

hence, average speed = (total distance travelled)/(total time taken)
= (30 + 30)/(0.75 + 1.5)
= 60/2.25
= 26.66km/h

 \bf \LARGE \it Cheers!!!
