let hieght be x
so base=2x+8
now
area =  \frac{1}{2}  \times base \times height \\ 480 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 2x + 8 \times  x \\480 = x + 4 \times x \\ 480 =  {x}^{2}  + 4x
i know till this

uphello here is your answer by Sujeet yaduvanshi,

GIVEN THAT:) Area of Triangle=480cm²

Let to be base be x
then,

Height of the Triangle be x

According to the question

we know that formula,

1/2*base *height

then,

Area of Triangle=1/2*b*h
480=1/2*2x+8*x

480=x²+4x

Arrange in particular form,

x²+4x-480

x²+24x-20x+480

x(x+24)-20(x+24)

x+24=0
x=-24

x-20=0

x=20

Answer 20

that's all
