Answer:

Option D

Explanation:

Let the third spherical conductor be A

Initial force=F=kq^2/r^2

When you touch A with B, total charge present on B and A gets equally divided.

Total charge on both B and A =q+0=q

So after touching, charge on both

B and A=q/2

Now A is touched with C

Total charge on both A and C=q/2+q=3q/2

Now this total charge gets equally divided between A and C.

So after touching, charge on both

A and C=3q/4

Now charge on B =q/2

charge on C=3q/4

Force=3Kq^2/8r^2=3F/8

hyy mate ✌️

Let B and C have charge Q each initially and are separated by r distance.

Coulomb force between them, F = KQ^2/ r^2 ...............(1)

Now an identical uncharged spherical conductor A is brought in contact with B. They will share equal charge among themselves.

Charge on A = Q/2

Charge on B = Q/2

Now the conductor A is brought in contact with C. They will share equal charge among themselves.

Therefore, Charge on A or C = Q+Q/2/2 = 3Q/4

New Culomb force between B and C :

F^1 = K Q/2 * 3Q/4 / r^2 = 3 KQ^2/ 8 r^2

From first we get: F^1 = 3/8 F

hope it will help you ❣️❣️
