we get 3*a( 4-1) = 3*a (3)= 3*a( 3*1)= 3*a+1

Now, we have 3*a+2 - 3*a+1/ 3*a+1

= (3*a+2/3*a+1) - (3*a+1/3*a+1)

= (3*a+2-a-1) - (3*a+1-a-1)

= 3*1 - 3*0

= 3- 1= 2
