most bat live in dark caves and only fly out to feed at night . they manage to navigate in the dark , and to find night . flying insect to feed on , by using a Sonar system . as a bat flies along , it seads out a series of high pitched sound pulses it uses its large ears to detect the echoes from these pulses as they bounce back off surrounding object in its path .
