Answer with Step-by-step explanation:

1) 3x - 2y = 1                (eq. 1)

  2x - 3y = -6              (eq. 2)

multiply the (eq. 1) with 2 and (eq. 2) with 3

so, the new equation formed:

 6x - 4y =  2

+6x - 9y = -18

-      +        +       (changing the sign)

0x + 5y =  20

           y = 20/5

           y = 4

now put the value of y in eq. 1

3x - 2*4 = 1

3x - 8 = 1

3x = 9

x = 9/3 = 3

x = 3

  y = 4

2) 3x + 2y = 12          (eq.1)

   5x - 2y  = 4           (eq.2)

   8x         = 16

     x = 16/8

     x = 2

now put the value of x in eq.1

3*2 + 2y = 12

6 + 2y = 12

2y = 12-6 = 6

y = 6/2 = 3

x = 2

  y = 3
