Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Probability of White = 1/2

Probability of Yellow = 1/3

a) Probability that seed selected will produce Red flower = 1  - 1/2 -1/3 = 1/6

b) Probability that seed selected will not produce yellow flower (i.e. only red and white are expected) = 1 - 1/3 = 2/3.

c) Probability two seeds will produce yellow flower = 1/3*1/3 = 1/9.

d) Probability to produce blue flower = 0.

(Because as per question seeds can produce only red, white or yellow flowers only)

e) probability to produce one white and one yellow flower = 1/2*1/3 + 1/2 * 1/3

                                                                                                 = 2/6 = 1/3
