Answer :

Let the radius of the cylinder be r and Height be h

Given :

( r + h ) = 37 metres

Total surface area = 2 π r ( h + r ) = 1628

2 × 22/7 × r × 37 = 1628

r = ( 1628 × 7 ) / (2 × 22 × 37 )

r = 7 metres

r + h = 37

7 + h = 37

h = 30 metres

To find : Volume of cylinder.

Volume of cylinder = π r^2 h

= 22/7 × 7 × 7 × 30

= 660 × 7

= 4620 m^3

Hence,

Volume of cylinder = 4620 m^3
