Answer:

(a+2)²= 2a+2a+2²+a²

=>(a+b)²=a²+b²+2ab

So

(a+2)² = a²+2²+2*a*2

=> (a+2)² = a² + 4a + 4

Answer:

As we know that (a+2)^2=a^2+ 4+2a

Then equating the given equation

a^2+ 4+2a=2a+2a+4+a^2

cancelling a^2 & 2a & 4 on both sides

we get,

2a^2=2a

a^2=a

taking a as common

a (a-1)=0

a=0; a=1
