 \frac{n}{3}  + 1 = 4 - n

 \frac{n}{3}  + n = 4 - 1

n \:  +  \frac{3n}{3}  = 3

 \frac{4n}{3}  = 3

4n = 3 \times 3

4n = 9

n =  \frac{9}{4}
