Hey dear friend

Taking eq.2

=>x/3+y/4=4
=>4x+3y/12=4
=>4x+3y=48. eq.2

Eq.1=>3x-y=23
Eq.2=>4x+3y=48

Multiplying eq.1 with 3

we get,
9x-3y=69. eq.3
4x+3y=48. eq.4

Subtracting eq.4 from eq.3
we get,
5x=21
x=21/5=4.2

Substituting x=4.2 in eq.1
we get
=>3*4.2-y=23
=>12.6-y=23
=> -y= 23-12.6
=> y= -10.4

So, the value of x=4.2 and y= -10.4

3x-y=23(i)
x/3+y/4=4(2)
mul. i by 1/3and 2 by 3
we get
3x/3-y/3=23/3and 3x/3+3y=12
by this we get
-8y/3=-13/3
==8y/3=13/3
y=13/8
put this in eq. and get your ans.
