Hi ,
Marked price ( m.p ) = Rs 550
Discount ( d ) = 10%
Selling price = m.p( 100 - d )/ 100
s.p = 550 ( 100 - 10 ) / 100
= ( 550 × 90 ) / 100
= Rs 495
2 ) gain = Rs 75
S.p = Rs 495
Cost price ( c.p ) = s.p + gain
c.p = Rs495 + Rs 75
= Rs 550
Difference = m.p - c.p
= Rs 550 - Rs 420
= Rs 130
3 )Required % =(difference × 100 )/c.p
= ( 130 × 100 ) / 420
= 30.95 %
I hope this helps you.
