so they both are equal in area

now DC is the median

hence triangle ar BDC = half to the area of ABC

triangle BDP+ triangle PDC =triangle BDC

and PDC =QPC

so we can put QPC in place of PDC

hence triangle BDP + PQC= BQC

so, ar BQC = half to the area of ABC
