The role of the philosopher was that they kept the third estate people forward . Philosophers such as John Locke and Abbe sieyes were from upper cast though they helped the third estate people.

Abbe sieyes was a priest and he wrote a book called "What is a third Estate".

John Locke was from a noble family .His speeches were very good , people were inspired by him.
