One root is -5, so one factor is (x-(-5)).

The product of the roots is 1, so -5a = 1, “a” being the other root, so a = 1/-5.

Now we have both roots, and hence both factors:

(X - (-5)), (X - 1/-5)

Multiplying these will give the resulting quadratic equation:

X^2 - 10/-5X + 1
