Solution.

Usin appropriate identity.
 {(x - y)}^{2}  =  {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2}  - 2xy

Now,
 {2 \sqrt{3} }^{2}  +  { \sqrt{11} }^{2}  - 2 \times 2 \sqrt{3}  \times  \sqrt{11}  \\  = 12 + 11 - 4 \sqrt{33}  \\  = 23 - 4 \sqrt{33}
