Answer:

log y = cot x log tan x

Differentiating both sides with respect to x,

applying product rule on right hand side and chain rule for y with respect ro x on left hand side, we get

1/y * dy/dx = (cotx)*sec^2 x / tan x + log tan x *(-cosec^2 x)

or,

dy/dx = (tanx)^cotx { sec^2 x / tan^2 x - log tan x / sin^2 x }
