Hi ,

It is given that ,

x = 2^1/3 + 2^2/3 ---( 1 )

do the cube both sides of the equation,

x³ = ( 2^1/3 + 2^2/3 )³

x³ = (2^1/3)³+(2^2/3)³+3(2^1/3)(2^2/3)(2^1/3+2^2/3)

[ ( a + b )³ = a³ + b³ + 3ab( a + b ) ]

x³ = 2 + 2² + 3 × 2 × x

x³ = 2 + 4 + 6x

x³ = 6 + 6x

x³ - 6x = 6

Hence proved.

I hope this helps you.
