500 = 0 \times t +  \frac{1}{2}  \times 10 \times  {t}^{2}
500= 5* t2
 {t}^{2}  =  \frac{500}{5}
 {t}^{2}  = 100
t =  \sqrt{100}
t= 10s
now

speed \: of \: sound =   \frac{distnce \: trvelled \: }{time \: taken}
340 =  \frac{500}{time \: taken}
time \: taken =  \frac{500}{340} s
=1.47s
time after which splash is = 10s+1.47s
heard at the top of tower = 11.47 s
