One night he calculated total spending of 5 consecutive days - Monday to Friday and he found that he spent Rs. 61 in 5 days. Identify dates. *For all geniuses.*

I think the total should be 60 not 61.

On the 5 days he spent x ,x+1 ,x+2, x+3 ,x+4
So, x+( x+1)+) x+2)+( x+3)+ (x+4 )= 60
» x+x+x+x+x+ 1+2+3+4= 60
» 5x + 10 = 60
» 5x = 60-10 = 50
» x = 50/5 = 10

So, the dates are 10, 11, 12, 13, 14.
