If we take x as his expense in the middle of the week then his expenses will come to (x-2)+(x-1)+x+(x+1)+(x+2),
but this fetches the value as 5x=61, which is not a whole number and considering the fact that the person spends exactly as per the date of the month anything apart from whole number is not possible.
So, as per the logic it can be stated that the person has started spending the money from 27th February of a non leap year and in 5 consecutive dates
i.e. 27th, 28th, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd he has spent Rs 61 in total.
