Step-by-step explanation:

root sec^2 theta + cosec^2 theta = (tan theta + cot theta)

LHS= root SEC^2 theta t cosec^2 theta

=root 1/cos^2theta + 1/ sin^2 theta

= root cos^2 theta + sin^2 theta/sin^2theta x cos^2theta

= root 1/cos^2theta x sin^2 theta

LHS = 1/ cos theta x sin theta

RHS = (tan theta + cot theta)

= sin theta/ cos theta + cos theta / sin theta

= sin^2 theta + cos^2 theta/ sin theta x cos theta

= 1 / sin theta x cos theta

Therefore LHS = RHS = 1 / sin theta x cos theta

hence Proved.
