The below two are just 2 of the infinite solutions possible :

Step-by-step explanation:

Well there are infinite solutions to these questions but let me tell you two :

(a)Let x = 1

3(1)-2y=13

3-2y=13

-2y=13-3

2y=-10

y=\frac{-10}{2}

y=-5

Therefore x = 1

Therefore y = -5

(b)Let x = 5

3(5)-2y=13

15-2y=13

-2y=13-15

2y=2

y=\frac{2}{2}

y=1

Therefore x = 5

Therefore y = 1
